This pattern featuring magnificent lobsters is a celebration of The National Lobster Hatchery in Padstow as well as a nod to Catherine’s favourite place in the world, Cornwall.

The National Lobster Hatchery is a leading marine conservation, education, and research charity nestled in Padstow, Cornwall. Dedicated to safeguarding the future of the European lobster and promoting sustainability in our marine environment the team aim to use innovative research and breeding programs, to replenish lobster populations and support sustainable fisheries. To date, they’ve released over 500,000 juvenile lobsters back into the sea, making a significant impact on marine ecosystems.

For every product purchased featuring the Prize of Padstow pattern (on this website or in Catherine’s Etsy store) £5 will be donated to the National Lobster Hatchery. Find out more about their work here. The hatchery is open to visitors and you can even adopt your own Lobsters and follow its journey out at sea!

Complete with nickel plated 10mm eyelets sewn in the top of the curtain. Please note our shower curtains do not come with any rings or hooks. 

Please be aware the large size is made using two panels of fabric stitched together resulting in a vertical seam, but the pattern will be carefully matched up.

Care

For a deep clean, cool wash occasionally at 25°c, but for everyday use, rinse in the shower with after every use. The fabric is quick dry, so once washed, you won't have to wait long before you can jump in the shower again.
